About Me
The only way I can think of to write this About Me is in a bulleted list form...so here it is but if you have any questions feel free to ask.
- I went to Catholic School for 13 years.
- I graduated from IUP in 1999 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education
- I taught in a Catholic School for 6 years (Kindergarten for 1 year and Third grade for 5 years)
- I got married in June, 2004
- I had my first baby, Nate, in November, 2005
- I had my second baby, Danika, in January, 2007
- I graduated from Duquesne University with a Master's Degree in Educational Studies
- I had my third and fourth babies, Dean and David, in September, 2009
- I am done having babies
- My favorite color is green
- I like to read - books, blogs, magazines
- I love watching The Soup on E! - it's a guilty pleasure along with American Idol and anything on the Food Network
- I have a younger sister and two sisters-in-law, 3 nieces and 4 nephews
- I quit smoking over a year ago - after smoking for about 14 years
- I teach preschool - 3-year-olds - it's a lot of fun and I love it...but some days are harder than would think
- I learned what kind of mom I DON'T want to be from some of the parents of students I have taught
- Sometimes I miss teaching older kids - but for right now I have the PERFECT job for me
- I'm from Pittsburgh - therefore I bleed Black and Gold.
- I LOVE the Steelers (and watching all Pro football teams, college - eh) and Penguin Hockey (not so much watching other teams)
- I like to cook - but not clean up after I'm done
- I'm on a diet - Weight Watchers - and it's not as fun as I remember
- I'm addicted to Facebook, my BlackBerry and reading other peoples Tweets (I don't Tweet much - but love reading celebrity Tweets for some bizarre reason)
- I love to make lists and get organized but I'm not that good at executing my plans
- I love my family and would do anything for them
